NEW campaign to have smoke detectors fitted in 100% of houses in Lochcarron  |
| From the 1st of November 2004 we started visiting EVERY household in Lochcarron Village to discuss fire prevention & fit smoke alarms. We have now completed this & are the first Brigade in the UK to achieve 100% smoke detector coverage. mention in HIFRS newsletter March 2006 we have now extended the scheme beyond lochcarron & are working our way around the outlying areas, we're also going back around lochcarron completing full Home Fire Safety Checks. |
